Motorola RDU2080d Two-way UHF Radio
The RDU 2080d is the display model of the 2-Watt RDX series radios . Front panel programming and backlit display gives you clear and concise information as to the status of your walkie-talkie and where you are in features menus. 5 programmable buttons provide easy access to the two-way radio features you use most.
The RDX series is Motorola's star business grade walkie-talkie. Built to military specifications for dust, water, shock, vibration and temperature extremes (810 C, D, E, F and IP54/55). The RDX 2080d is rodeo ready. Give it all you got, the RDX 2080d can take it. With a metal die-cast chassis housed in a polycarbonate overmold, it's made to withstand the rigors of construction sites, Christmas season in retail, busy warehouses, factories and whatever else you throw at it.
Loud environments are no match for the advanced audio technology of the RDU 2080d either. Motorola pushed the milliwattage up from 500 to 2000mW making the RDU 2080d 30% louder than previous models. To further fine-tweak signal clarity, Motorola added enhanced noise reduction, magnetic field interference reduction and adjusted RF specifications, bringing your business needs to the ears of your employees for measurable increases in productivity and customer response time.
8 separate channels let you assign different departments their own channel. With channel aliasing you can name each of your 8 channels anything you like, Maintenance 1, Loading, Lumber, ESPN. Cloning settings is about as quick and easy as attaching the optional cloning cable. Customer Programming Software** lets you set everything up from your PC and it's free for download! CPS** gives you access to useful two-way radio features like Manager Lock, Radio Reporting of profiles and cloning, Power Select (in half watts), PL/DL defeat and Reverse Burst (to get rid of unwanted noise). Add in two time-out timers, call alert tones, battery save, accessory and radio mic gain, autoscan, scan list and scan channel delete and you're looking at a full featured, business walkie-talkie.
Battery options are flexible and reliable. The RDU 2080d comes standard with a RLN6351 Lithium Ion battery that lasts 12 hours on one full charge. You also get a wall adapter charger and drop-in charging tray with your RDU 2080d two-way radio.
